Fundraising for Fighters

I would like to welcome everyone back, as well as welcome all new students.
I am looking forward to this next season of Karate!
South Delta dojo has had a great amount of success on the tournament scene these past few years with our athletes having excellent results at tournaments in Banff, L.A., Calgary, and the Canadian Championship held here in South Delta. Everyone that competed this last year saw their tournament fee’s and expenses supplemented with funds from the fighters fund. In the case of the Canadian Championship all competitors had 100% of their entry fee’s paid by the Fighters fund.
The Fighters fund is set up to help you! The way that you can help the fighters fund is to become involved when we do fundraising.
We are starting the season with 2 events that you can easily become involved with! The first is a food order from Neufeld’s foods. Last year we had great success with this event. It’s simply, you go online to the Neufeld’s catalogue browse their products, make your order and the food arrives on a prearranged date for pickup, Neufeld’s then pays a percentage of gross sales back to the dojo. We all have to purchase groceries so why not direct some of your household grocery purchases to Neufeld’s and help contribute to your Fighters fund.
The second event is a Purdy’s Christmas chocolate order, again it’s simply, go online to Purdy’s website ,browse their products, place your order and your chocolates arrive on a prearranged date for you to pick up. Purdy’s then pay a percentage of the value of the order to your Fighters fund. Almost everybody purchases chocolate at Christmas so why not do your christmas chocolate spending at Purdy’s and raise money for your Fighters fund.
